What This Means for You
Jasmine Pharmacy is a specialist chronic-care pharmacy. We dispense prescription medication, and our pharmacists support the safe and appropriate use of your medication — but we do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe treatment, or replace the professional judgment of your prescribing clinician.
Nothing on our website, and nothing communicated to you by our team, is a substitute for clinical advice. If you have questions about your diagnosis, your treatment plan, or whether a medication is right for you, your prescribing clinician is the right person to answer them.
Using our website or pharmacy services does not create a physician-patient relationship between you and Jasmine Pharmacy. You are engaging with a dispensing pharmacy, not a clinical practice.
No medication will be dispensed without a valid, in-date prescription or authorised refill from a qualified prescribing clinician. This is a legal and professional requirement that exists to protect your safety.
If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, seek immediate medical attention or contact local emergency services.
1. No Medical Advice Provided
The boundary between pharmacy and clinical care
Jasmine Pharmacy does not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe treatment, or replace the professional judgment of your prescribing clinician. Information provided by our pharmacists is intended to support the safe and appropriate use of medications and should not be relied upon as a substitute for diagnosis, treatment planning, or advice from your prescribing clinician.
The decision to prescribe a medication and determine its clinical appropriateness rests with the prescribing clinician. Before dispensing, our pharmacists may perform routine professional and legal checks intended to promote patient safety. Such checks do not constitute diagnosis or the assumption of the prescribing clinician's role.
Nothing communicated through our website, online platform, by telephone, by email, or through any other communication channel constitutes medical advice or should be relied upon as a substitute for diagnosis, treatment planning, or professional advice from your prescribing clinician.
No physician-patient relationship
Use of our website, online platform, or pharmacy services does not create a physician-patient relationship between you and Jasmine Pharmacy.
Medical emergencies
If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, seek immediate medical attention or contact local emergency services.

3. Prescription Requirement
Jasmine Pharmacy dispenses prescription (Rx) medication exclusively. We do not dispense any medication without first receiving and verifying a valid, in-date prescription (or authorised refill) issued by a qualified prescribing clinician licensed to practise in Kenya.
To place an order on our platform, you must:
- Create a verified account
- Submit a valid prescription or authorised refill
No order will be processed and no medication will be dispensed until these steps are complete and the prescription has been verified.
Jasmine Pharmacy reserves the right to refuse or delay dispensing where required by law, professional standards, patient safety considerations, or where a prescription cannot be satisfactorily verified.
We are regulated by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) and operate in compliance with the Pharmacy and Poisons Act Cap. 244, applicable regulations made under Cap. 244, the Health Act 2017, and professional standards and guidance issued by the PPB.
4. Corporate Affiliation and Patient Choice
Jasmine Pharmacy operates as the pharmacy and dispensing division of Jasmine Dental and Medical Centre (JDMC), under whose legal entity we are licensed and regulated by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB). Please note the distinction between our clinical and pharmacy services:
Separation of Services: The "No Medical Advice" terms in this Disclaimer apply specifically to your use of the Jasmine Pharmacy website and e-commerce platform. If you are a clinical patient of JDMC, your doctor-patient relationship and the medical advice you receive during your consultations remain completely separate and intact.
Freedom of Choice: While our pharmacy is integrated with JDMC for your convenience, you are under no obligation to use Jasmine Pharmacy. You have the absolute right to have your prescriptions filled by any licensed pharmacy of your choosing.
